To my P.S. 153 family,
As I write this letter, I am filled with so many mixed emotions. After 34 wonderful years in this building, it is time for me to say farewell as I retire from P.S. 153.
This school has been my second home. I spent 11 years here as a PTA volunteer, raising my two boys who grew up and later worked at CPC. I then had the privilege of serving as your Parent Coordinator for 23 years. Through it all, this community has become so much more than a workplace. You have truly become my extended family.
Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and for allowing me to walk alongside you, supporting, encouraging, and celebrating your children throughout the years. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
Although I am retiring, the love and memories I carry from P.S. 153 will stay with me forever. This community will always be part of my heart.
